THE JOURNEY AND THE TECHNIQUE

Fabrizio Bergamo’s artistic journey originates from the rediscovery of techniques used at the dawn of photographic art. The artist works with pinhole photography — pinhole digital art — through which the image passes through several stages of processing and comes to light without any form of invasive intervention. People and objects are thus portrayed using the artisanal simplicity of the pinhole technique, yet the final work comes to life through digigraphie printing. He exhibited at the Biennale Arte, Venice 2011, and at the Biennale Arte Italian Pavilion, Turin 2012. His exhibitions include: BLUES FOR HAITI, Bocconi University, Milan 2010; SANTI, HQ-Headquarter Gallery, Milan 2011; PICS (group show), HQ-Headquarter Gallery, Milan 2011; PICS 2 (group show), HQ-Headquarter Gallery, Milan 2012; VOLTI, Ancient Oratory of the Passion, Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio, Milan 2013; GRANDE MAGIA (group show), DFA Gallery, Milan 2013.
